Zambia has launched its strategy on HIV/AIDS prevention and mitigation in the public service. The strategy aims to prevent the transmission of AIDS within the civil service. The International Labor Organization estimated that the labor force will be 10 percent to 32 percent smaller by 2020 than it would have been without the adverse impacts of AIDS in eight African countries including Zambia, Times of Zambia reports.
