The International Monetary Fund forecasts that Zambia’s economy to grow 6.6 percent this year, driven by a record maize harvest, Reuters reports.

    “The Bank of Zambia has managed monetary policy well with a view to reducing inflation, while at the same time maintaining conditions to facilitate economic growth,” George Tsibouris, IMF mission chief for Zambia, said in a statement.
