The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has provided $37.9 million to Zimbabwe after the unity government pledged that the aid will not be squandered,
reported. The United Nations Development Program will administer the funding, which was previously managed by the state's National AIDS Council. Last year, the organization announced that the country's central bank seized in 2007 $7.3 million in health funding.
