Agripole Innovation Meknes (Agrinova)
Given the growth potential of the agroindustrial sector in the Fès-Meknès region (region which saw the establishment of the first agropolis on a national scale), the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and des Eaux et Forêts (MAPMEFDR) has planned to set up a regional competitiveness cluster with an agro-food vocation. This approach aims to develop this sector and position this Region as a center of national and international excellence. To do this, it is a question of relying on the potential of this region in terms of infrastructure and know-how, in particular in the fields of research-training and innovation, allowing to create more added value.
The Meknes competitiveness cluster is the first agricultural competitiveness cluster to have emerged on the national territory. This pole is set up in association called Agripole Innovation Meknès "AGRINOVA", within the framework of a public-private partnership bringing together agro-industrial companies, interprofessional organizations of different sectors, training research institutions and public authorities, in order to develop collaborative research and development projects.See more
