Since its foundation in 2010 in a barn (French version of Silicon Valley's garage!), the passionate team of 2 engineers and 1 farmer's son invented the first-ever multi-spectral sensor to measure crop growth with world-class research institute INRA, and adapted the solution to farmers'​ real needs. Today their sensor is the most sold agricultural sensor in the world and Airinov has a unique know-how and recognition in the industry. Their expertise is both experimental and practical and they therefore need talents from a lot of different backgrounds: agronomy, electronic, optic, web, commercial, marketing.
