Association Belgo-Palestinienne (ABP)

Association Belgo-Palestinienne (ABP) is a Belgian non-profit organization founded in 1975 to defend and promote the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to its territory and state, rights expressly recognized by the United Nations. The ABP claims the principle of pluralism; it is open to any natural or legal person, excluding those who profess a racist or anti-Semitic ideology. For more than 40 years, the ABP has been achieving its objectives via various lines of action: information and mobilization of public opinion, associations and citizen organizations, the media; political action of citizen intervention (lobbying) with the elected representatives in the local, regional, national and European institutions and questioning of the public authorities in Belgium and in the European Union; material, moral and human resource support to Palestinian organizations; promotion, with the Belgian NGOs of cooperation in partnership with Palestinian associations; cultural exchanges.
