Burkina Faso has adopted the National Economic and Social Development Plan (PNDES) to respond to the structural deficiencies of the national productive system, which reflects the will of Burkina Faso to implement the development actions of the rural world. Aware of the great challenges faced by Burkina Faso, the NGO-AGED wished to align itself with this document and was involved in a role of accompanying the Government in achieving the socio-economic development objectives of the populations. rural.
To this end, AGED has focused on the one hand, in actions aimed at increasing the incomes of these populations, based on the facilitation of market access (local, national, regional, international). modernization of family farms, the professionalization of the actors, the transformation of products, the diversification and the promotion of agro-silvo-pastoral and halieutic sectors. On the other hand, the AGED is also engaged in actions of sustainable development and rational management of natural resources, development of partnerships between the actors of the rural sector according to their roles and responsibilities, and the reinforcement of their capacities. .
