Australian Defence Apparel

ADA’s long history of continuous service is a source of great pride to their company and their people. They were established in 1912 as the Commonwealth Government Clothing Factory, responsible for the manufacture and supply of uniforms to Australia’s fighting forces through two world wars and many other conflicts, playing an instrumental role in creating what has become the iconic visual image of the Australian ‘digger’. The Australian Defence Force remains a major customer to this day, with ADA manufacturing and supplying cutting-edge uniforms, protective clothing and ceremonial dress.
