THE BRAND CAUSTIER
Every brands has its beginnings. The history of CAUSTIER began in 1919 when Georges Caustier set up a small mechanical in Perpignan.
Established in the heart of the Orchard of Roussillon, in 1925, he invented the first grading machine for fruits and vegetables.
En 1947, Claude Caustier joined his father. Later in 1966 the company CAUSTIER FRANCE set up its historical head office in the route de Prades in Perpignan.
In April 2009, Vincent Colleu and Lionel Mailhes, 2 executives of CAUSTIER FRANCE together with Dominique Bouvier, sales representative, took over the company.
A NEW FACTORY
In November2012, the management team decided to relocate their activity and know-how to a new factory to ZAC Belair in Perpignan. This new 7000 m2 industrial site of which 3300 m2 for building and offices enabled the Catalan company to be very close to its clients and suppliers.
The team of CAUSTIER BY STC consists of experienced employees under the leadership of : Lionel MAILHES (President & Sales Manager), Vincent COLLEU (Technical Director) and Dominique BOUVIER (General Director and also Chairman of "JLB Emballages", packing company in Valence).
Equipped with a technological pole where the concept of 3D Computer Aided Design goes along with innovation, CAUSTIER BY STC's strength is based on 100% in-house manufacturing.
The slogan «Made in France» has materialized here to the full extent.
Indeed, the ability to produce all equipment autonomously enables acting effectively regarding delivery time and cost control.
Another merit of CAUSTIER BY STC is the quality of its employees competent in electrical and mechanical engineering, automatism and computer control systems. These differing competences are subject to cross functional team work.
Here, everything is stamped «manufactured in-house», from the programming of the software, the design of the fruit carriers, to the electrical control system.
