CLADEM is a regional organization that articulates persons and feminist organizations of Latin America and the Caribbean. From a juridical/political approach, it seeks to contribute to social transformation and to the construction of radical democracies, from a perspective of inter-sections, which recognizes cultural, ethnic/racial, sexual and social diversity, for the full exercise and enjoyment of women’s human rights.

To contribute from a feminist perspective to the construction of real democracies with social justice, free of discrimination and with full exercise of the human rights.
PROGRAMS
Formation
Through this program, CLADEM contributes to progressively improve the competencies, abilities and skills of its members in the reading and comprehension of the national and international contexts that affect the enjoyment and exercise of women’s human rights, as well as to strengthen its analyses,argumentation and strategic design capabilities.
Litigation
Through this program, CLADEM contributes to promote the expansion of the interpretative frameworks of the international and national norms in the countries of the region, as well as to enforce justice for women’s human rights by means of gender-sensitive jurisprudence obtained through the international litigation.
Monitoring
Through this program, CLADEM contributes to the progressive realization of women’s human rights and the development of national legislations and progressive public policies, by means of the articulation of alliances to advocate in the national and international power centers, which aim at the compliance of the States’ obligations contained in the ratified human rights treaties.
