Cut to Black Media
Cut to Black Media is a fully integrated communications agency with a diverse portfolio of work, dedicated to assisting clients in the public, private and NGO sector communicate with their stakeholders. Established in 2002, they are a Level 2 BEE company and Qualifying Small Entity in terms of the sector Charter. Working across a range of disciplines they have a pool of talent that enables them to bring their clients' messages to life and achieve their communication and business objectives.
In a rapidly evolving industry, they've adopted an innovative business model that transcends the traditional lines between internal and external communication, above and below the line advertising, because in the end, it's the client's bottom line that really counts.
They are loud, and proud, of their support for their country, and their continent, and are committed to working for the greater good.
Like so many really wonderful South African creations, their story starts with a fire, and bottle. Two friends lamenting why their country sucked at communicating the Myriad amazing things they’ve achieved. One was a relatively successful journalist and the other was a organisational development consultant. By the end of the night, and the bottle, they agreed the country was ready for a black-owned, “through the line communications agency” that focused on the public and non-profit sector, that would become an incubator for wonderfully talented people producing great work!
In those wonderfully optimistic times, they set theirselves three goals.
Always do work that they would be proud to put their names to.
Always support their country, and their people, and treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
They wanted to be so wonderful to their clients, that they would become their friends, and be invited to their parties.
...And they’re still about that.See more
