DDP's vision is a society where disabled men and women, boys and girls, and the most vulnerable in society have equal social, economic and civil rights. Inclusion is at the heart of everything the charity does where disabled and vulnerable people actively engage in or lead ideas for change and equality of opportunity especially in areas where disabled adults and children have been denied this. DDP focuses its programmes on disabled children and adults, carers of disabled people, disabilities that are not so obvious such as deafness and mental illness and other vulnerable and marginalised members of society. DDP's approach to partnership is responsive and flexible and it works with its partners to translate ideas into tangible and effective programmes.
