Eastwest Projects, registered Class 1 civil contractors under the CPWD, has been involved in the construction of the largest cement plant in the north eastern part of India, that of erstwhile Calcom Cements India Limited, now Dalmia Cements in Lanka, Assam. Their role included planning, engineering and constructing the civil infrastructure, fabrication and erection of structures, sheds, conveyor belts, mill hoppers and cement mill buildings. They were involved in construction of complex structures like cement silos and clinker stock pile. They were also involved in the construction and implementation of a 132 KV power transmission line constructed over a distance of 17 kms.
