The Environmental Law Institute provides information services, advice, publications, training courses, seminars, research programs and policy recommendations to engage and empower environmental leaders the world over. ELI?s audience is leading environmental professionals in government, industry, public interest groups and academia. In 2004, ELI?s Board of Director's approved a new strategic plan that identified ELI?s mission: to advance environmental protection by improving law, policy and management. The strategic plan also identified ELI?s roles and values. ELI is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Institute publishes the Environmental Law Reporter and The Environmental Forum.
