Fabretto is a nonprofit organization supporting over 19,000 children in 9 Education Centers and over 300 primary schools in underprivileged rural and urban communities in Nicaragua. Following the legacy of Italian Father Rafael Fabretto, who began working in these communities over 60 years ago, Fabretto continues to help impoverished Nicaraguan children and their families break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential through programming in education, nutrition, health, and community development. Poverty impacts children on many different levels, which is why Fabretto offers programs in five core areas: early & primary education enrichment, rural secondary education, food security & nutrition, vocational & life skills education, and community well-being and development. Fabretto provides services throughout an extended period of an individual’s life from childhood through adolescence and into young adulthood.
