Fundación Pantaleón is a private non-profit organization. It was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Pantaleon Group shareholders to achieve the purpose of the organization to promote development in a responsible manner. Fundación Pantaleón is dedicated to promoting projects in its three areas of work:
Currently, the foundation develops its programs in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico, which are countries of operation of the Pantaleon Group. The various projects in these three areas have contributed to the development and improvement in the quality of life of these countries.
Mission
Support projects in education, health and environment, to provide opportunities to improve the level and quality of life.
Fundación Pantaleón implements educational programs that promote the social development of local communities. Educational programs are aimed at both children and adults and focus on providing a comprehensive education through the development of technical skills.
It supports health programs focused on providing quality services at low cost to the population in extreme poverty in urban and rural areas surrounding Pantaleon Group operations. The foundation also promotes and supports sustainable programs for the conservation of the environment in the countries in which it operates.
