About

Twenty-five years ago, this Foundation began its journey. He did it after a long process of reconversion of the previous Board of Industrial Laboratories of the School of Industrial Engineers of Madrid, founded in 1949, with the creation of the Electrical Verification Laboratory, embryo of the current LCOE.
On June 15 of the year 92, an agreement was signed between Minister Aranzadi and the Rector, Rafael Portaencasa, establishing the guidelines to be followed in the participation of both entities in the government and support of the Foundation.
The founding act of formal constitution takes place on November 2 of that year, which makes 1992 the year of our first year.
These first 25 years of life have given us endless experiences and a lot of work, to reach the current structure, with human and technical resources of very high level, which allow facing future challenges with the same dynamism and enthusiasm shown in this first period.
Thus, throughout this year we will celebrate with various acts this small feat of having grown so much and so continuously in these 25 years.
