Founded in 2015, Grassland Cameroon has become a premier grain-handling company in Cameroon. They work closely with smallholder farmers in the North West region of Cameroon to improve the lives of our farmers, their families, and their communities at large. They started by providing storage and handling solutions for maize farmers, and selling their harvest to large industrial buyers. In 2017, they begun an out-grower program to ensure farmers have the necessary resources to improve their yield and therefore increase their income.
They assist farmers with agricultural financing and solutions. Their integrated package for each farmer includes asset-based credit in the form of inputs, access to machinery, extension services and post-harvest storage and marketing services.
