Great Yarmouth Community Trust is a charity that works to make Great Yarmouth a place where everyone can thrive by supporting local children, adults and families to reach their potential. GYCT does this through the core charitable objectives: activities that relieve poverty, promote education or improve wellbeing.
To fulfil these objectives GYCT provides a range of services and activities within the community:
Community building activities based at the Priory Centre - the community hub building - including the Priory Friendship Club and the Ageless Opportunities Directory
Targeted services for children, families and young people - including Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Children's Centres and Horatio House Independent School
Social enterprises - such as the Nexus Engineering Skills Centre on Beacon Park and the six Nursery childcare group.
GYCT is registered with the Charity Commission (no. 1095214) and at Companies House as a Company Limited by Guarantee (no. 4329682).
