Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA)
Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) is a dynamic, constantly evolving center for health care advocacy and expertise.
Their core mission—helping hospitals deliver the finest patient care in the most cost-effective way—never changes. GNYHA’s advocacy takes many forms, from fighting for our members’ interest in Washington and Albany to working alongside them to improve quality and patient safety. Every day, GNYHA works to ensure that our member hospitals have the tools to succeed.
GNYHA maintains affiliations with several organizations that work to improve the health care community through many services related to, but outside the immediate scope of, the Association.
Continuing Care Leadership Coalition (CCLC)
CCLC is a membership and advocacy organization comprising more than 100 not-for-profit and public long term care organizations located in the New York metropolitan area and beyond. CCLC harnesses the leadership and focuses the collective experience of these organizations to develop solutions to the challenges facing long term care institutions.
GNYHA Foundation was established in 1978 to carry out special projects that are of interest to GNYHA member facilities and the broader health community. The Foundation identifies public and private grant funding opportunities that match the current initiatives and goals of GNYHA member hospitals. The Foundation also secures grant funding to develop and implement multi-institutional projects whereby GNYHA members can benefit from others’ best practices and experiences.
