HafenCity Universität (Hamburg) (HCU)

HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU) was founded in 2006 as a merger of three Hamburg universities and is a university for architecture and metropolitan Oil development unique in the Hamburg university landscape. The HCU combines all aspects of construction in design and draft, engineering and natural sciences as well as humanities and social sciences under one roof. All subject areas are consistently thought of in an interdisciplinary and integrated manner. In 2014, the HCU put its new building into operation in HafenCity, thereby laying the foundations for interdisciplinary research and teaching with a high degree of practical relevance. Around 2,400 students and 450 employees work together here today. HafenCity, the largest inner-city urban development project in Europe, offers scientists the special charm of a city laboratory on their own doorstep.
