Holdfast Systems Pty Ltd.

Holdfast Systems (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2006 with the objective of specializing in the development, design and manufacture of blast protective apparel. Born out of original concept and product development done by their sister company Ballistic Body Armour they realised that a highly specialized core focus was required in EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal)/IEDD (Improvised Explosive Device Disposal) equipment and UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) disposal. All together they have been in Blast Protection for more than 15 years. At Holdfast Systems they intend on staying at the global forefront of blast protection technology in today’s highly volatile EOD/IEDD environment. Their customers can expect hands on service and tailor made products to suit specific conditions or requirements. They actively seek comment and constructive criticism of their products from end users for what they learn from one will benefit all. Their prime methodology is to work in cooperation with the actual officers, operators, end users. They engage with the personnel at the front line of EOD/IEDD, they then combine this invaluable insight with their own stringent research, development and product testing programs. Using this key data they determine the best solutions to provide the optimum protection and operator functionality that makes their products tried tested and deemed reliable by those whose safety and protection is their primary concern. They only utilize the very highest quality globally sourced materials and components in their products. They do not abide anything but the very highest standard when it comes to a factor that can be the difference survivability and not.
