HOLWECK BINGEN ARCHITECTS was founded in 1991 as Holweck Mergen & Associates with three partners: Pol Holweck, Jos Mergen and Ralph Bingen. he object of the company is the study and planning of all architectural missions, interior and exterior, as well as urban planning missions and all operations directly or indirectly related to its purpose. Due to its geographical location, HOLWECK BINGEN ARCHITECTES has, around its basic structure of 2 managing partners, qualified employees: architects, interior designers, draftsmen and secretaries, who come from Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium. These various specificities and skills have enabled the HBA office to respond to various programs such as housing, industry and commerce, urban planning and heritage. These missions have formed the experience of the office during the last 30 years in all the specific tasks of the Luxembourg public procurement, in the coordination between the various Councils of the Masters of the work such as office of studies of stability, office of studies of special techniques, landscape architects, artists. For years, the office has earned a reputation in the field of wood construction, which has led to more and more experiences in the field of low energy consumption and passive construction. A whole series of low consumption and passive wood houses have been developed. The knowledge acquired in the private sector has been transferred to the public sector. The first schools with low energy consumption were realized from 2002. Since then, this concept applies to all the public projects conceived by their office.
