Impact Carbon

Impact Carbon's work reduces poverty and improves local environments while slowing climate change. They build and support projects that help people access energy efficient cook stoves. They leverage carbon finance and social finance to bring these projects to scale. Impact Carbon supports locally appropriate and commercially viable technologies to ensure maximum uptake and scale. They continually assess new and innovative technologies in order to best address the needs of the customers.   Their mission is to increase access to clean energy solutions that improve health, protect the environment and fight poverty globally. Impact Carbon generates carbon-emission reductions from household energy projects that improve living conditions in the less-developed communities they serve. They leverage the financial returns from these projects to benefit local partners and people. Impact Carbon brings together diverse project implementation, outreach, and research efforts to scale projects. For the past six years, they have worked with researchers and practitioners to bring clean-burning and efficient stoves and fuels to the millions of people suffering from indoor air pollution and energy poverty. They have created several pilot projects aimed at expanding the commercial markets for the best cooking and heating technologies throughout the world.
