They work side by side with teachers and leaders to improve the quality of instruction in core academics. They don’t lecture or push programs. Instead, they use a tailored, collaborative process to strengthen content, teaching and student engagement.
They partner with schools and districts to support academic growth. They work with school teams through cycles of improvement, starting with observation to understand the strengths and needs, reflecting on the academic strategy and helping the team develop and work through a nuts-and-bolts action plan. They specialize in smaller school districts, which may have limited capacity but can make big changes—fast.
They provide deep-dive professional development for educators. Their PD is intensely-focused and content-specific, such as practical support for 4th grade teachers wanting more help with fractions. They target common needs, so schools don’t have to do it all on their own. This isn’t limited to just teachers. With in-person and virtual structures, they also provide training and support for coaches, principals and CAOs.
All students experience an excellent education that prepares them to contribute to their community, achieve economic security, and pursue their dreams.
They work shoulder to shoulder with educators to support great teaching and accelerate student learning. They focus on small systems, both districts and charters, and they work to ensure equitable access to great instruction for students in poverty, students of color, English Language Learners, and students with disabilities.See more
