ISES, Italian Senior Expert Service, is a voluntary non-profit association , whose main activity is to provide assistance to companies and communities in Italy and in the countries of the world, proposing expertsavailable to transfer their professional knowledge.
Since 1985, the year of its foundation, ISES has carried out missions to help more than 20 countries in various parts of the world, including: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, Kazakhstan, Mexico, the Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Hungary, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela.
The main areas of activity are: agriculture, culture, industry, health, services, tourism, universities and training.
ISES has also been committed for years to initiatives for young people . In particular, in 2017 the ninth edition of the "ISES Youth - work experience in the world" project, aimed at recent graduates of the University of Turin and Eastern Piedmont and of the Polytechnic of Turin to facilitate their integration into the world of work.
ISES is a founding member of the CESES "Confederation of European Senior Expert Services" based in Brussels which brings together 25 Seniors associations, belonging to 15 countries of the European Union.
ISES participates in the Council of Seniors of the city of Turin , which was set up as an advisory and proposing body of the Council and the City Council, to present proposals for actions aimed at the dignified maintenance of the life system of the elderly population and its enhancement, as well as actions to avoid any discrimination.
ISES is registered in the Volunteering registers of the Piedmont Region , at No. 1391 from 13/04/1993, of the Municipality of Turin with resolution 2003/00893/01 and of the European Community with ITA-23203 from 16/7/1998.
