The Open House is an organization of lesbians, gay, trans and bise that was established and run by members of the community. Since its establishment in 1997, it hasĀ been working to make Jerusalem a city where everyone will have the freedom to be himself and live his life. The activity is an ongoing struggle for pluralism and respect for the rights of the individual, and it aspires to a breakthrough in an era of community and community action that will serve as a catalyst for building a more tolerant Israeli society. To achieve its goals: -It provides direct services to community through empowerment, support and community building -It works for social change on issues related to the community by promoting the values of tolerance and pluralism in Jerusalem
