Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) is an independent national charity which exists to campaign for justice in immigration, nationality and refugee law and policy. JCWI’s mission is to promote justice, fairness and equality in immigration and asylum law and policy. Strategic Objectives Its work is underpinned by the following strategic objectives: -It will challenge laws and policies that infringe rights of migrants, refugees and their families; -It will continue to influence the debate on immigration and asylum issues both in the UK and across Europe; -It will support others who share its objectives by providing training and guidance; -It will stand with its clients providing them with advice, assistance and representations to achieve positive outcomes in their cases.
