About

JVL CONSULTING, or JVL-C, is a Belgian public limited company specialized in assistance and consulting in rural and agricultural development, particularly breeding, animal health, traceability and food safety.

JVL-C was created after Compagnie Jules Van Lancker (JVL), created in 1927 decided to divide its activities. The Compagnie JVL set up a consulting service in 1974, building on their agro-industrial activities in Democratic Republic of Congo, and later Bulgaria.

In May 2008, on grounds of efficiency and synergy, the consulting and technical assistance services were transferred to the new company JVL-C, set up by the Compagnie JVL and SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils.
