KPEC Spółka z oo has six heat plants (Białe Błota, Osowa Góra, Solec Kujawski , Szubin , Nakło nad Notecią , Koronowo ), which in the Company's branches generate heat supplied to customers, and in Bydgoszcz support the heating system and heating networks with a total length of 446.1 km.
Users of heat are both users of single-family and multi-family housing as well as industrial plants, business entities and public utilities.
The company has been a laureate of the FAIR PLAY Enterprise competition for fourteen years and a winner of the Platinum Statuette. Each year, the Chapter of the Program assesses the Company's activities on many levels, which is helped by the fact that KPEC Spółka z oo is a modern managed company that meets all standards and requirements of the EN ISO 9001-2008 standard . In April 2014, at the Solemn Session of the City Council, KPEC Ltd was honored with the Medal of Kazimierz Wielki for special services to the City of Bydgoszcz.
KPEC is a limited liability company established in 1991 as a result of the communalization of the Provincial Heat Enterprise. The Company's shareholders are the following municipalities: the City of Bydgoszcz, Solec Kujawski, Szubin, Nakło nad Notecią, Koronowo, and the Company's share capital is PLN 45,900,000.
The company performs its tasks in accordance with the licenses granted by the Energy Regulatory Office on September 29, 1998 (with subsequent extensions):
