Their success story began in 1950. The core business included repairs and overhauls of all kinds of trucks. Hence the name LARAG (Lastwagen-Reparatur AG). Today, LARAG offers a full service of high quality for everything to do with heavy and light commercial vehicles, motorhomes and vans - from the sale of new vehicles to repairs and accident repairs to vehicle construction. In addition, LARAG also offers some of the services for passenger cars, buses and special vehicles. The production of new parts as well as repair and revision of vehicle components, machines and machine parts by the mechanical engineering department complete the offer. Around 530 people are employed at the eight locations in Wil (SG), St. Gallen, Neftenbach, Rümlang, Echandens, Monthey, Yverdon and Meyrin / Geneva, 120 of whom are apprentices.
