MAKPETROL AD is the largest private company for distribution and sale of oil products in Macedonia. As a leader at the Macedonian market for 65 years it developed a network of 124 ultra-modern petrol stations of oil products with sufficient capacity. Its core business is retail and wholesale of oil, oil products, natural gas and biodiesel.

 

For Makpetrol AD the construction of a plant with capacity of 20.000 tons biodiesel annually means steady step in following the modern trends of biofuels and renewable sources of energy. 1780 employees with different educational qualifications participate in the process of supplying the market. High quality comes from its own laboratory for quality control of fuels, modern fleet tank-cars and necessary logistics. International cooperation is achieved through branches in Greece and Serbia.

 

Makpetrol Group has its own affiliates, four of which are located in Macedonia, that is: Makpetrol Prom-Gas, Television Telma, GA-MA and Oilco, while on an international level the Company owns affiliated companies in Republic of Greece, Petrolmak and in Republic of Serbia, Makpetrol-Beograd.

 

Trade

The business activities of Makpetrol AD are directed towards the provision of high quality energy mixture of fuels from reliable resources, their storage and distribution, in compliance with the environmental protection requirements. In addition, the fuel characteristics are being improved with own technology and capacities and the fuel quality is being maintained throughout all delivery phases. The supporting business activities include the provision of a broader range of products and services complementary to the principal business activity.

 

The principal business activity of Makpetrol AD Skopje is the sale of oil, oil products and biofuels through the wholesale network of warehouses and the retail network of petrol stations. This business activity is being performed based on licenses issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission of Republic of Macedonia for performing the energy business activity – storage and trading with oil, oil products and biofuels. Makpetrol AD also has a license for production and blending of biofuels with fossil fuel in its own biorafinery for production of biodiesel of vegetable origin (FAME).

 

Services

Laboratory - The Laboratory of MAKPETROL AD is independent laboratory for testing oil products and biodiesel and operates pursuant to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The analyses are performed in accordance with the standard international, European and national methods of testing: ISO, EN, MKS, ASTM, IP etc. The Laboratory’s management has defined clear quality policy with a principal purpose to obtain quality of results of the laboratory testing which meet and exceed the requirements of the clients.

 

Forwarding - The Freight Forwarding Center, as an integral part of Makpetrol AD, is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 Standard, and is a member of the International Freight Forwarders Group in Republic of Macedonia. With its long year experience and with the effective organization of the personnel, it offers high quality and on time service, responsibility and consistency.

 

Hotel - Makpetrol A.D. Skopje is companies that, apart from the main activity trade with oil and oil products includes commercial and tourist services in its offer. Namely, Makpetrol owns two hotels positioned on very attractive locations and available at any period throughout the whole year.
