Marino Forum 21 (MF21)
Foundation and History
MF21 was founded on October 1985 as a voluntary organization and move to the official incorporated association on July 1st, 1986. It merged with the Overseas Fisheries Consultants Association (OFCA), the official incorporated association on October 1st, 2009.
Develop and disseminate new technologies for sustainable fisheries with members of Association, which are private companies, local governments, Fisheries research and education agency.
Contribute to the development of the fisheries in developing countries through the oversea fisheries cooperation for secure sustainable growth fisheries in Japan and stable necessary supply of fisheries products from overseas.
MF21 conducts the following activities in Japan and overseas:
Development and dissemination of new technologies for sustainable fisheries growth .
Research and studies for promotion of new technologies for sustainable fisheries growth.
Research and studies of overseas fisheries cooperation, guidance and advice to our members of fisheries consulting company. Organizing and operation of training on fisheries.
Collecting information related to the above-mentioned activities and providing them to member.
