Since 2006, Midwives for Haiti have trained 124 Haitian nurses to become Skilled Birth Attendants, who are now working throughout the country providing quality care to countless women and infants. In addition to the organization's Volunteer Teaching Program, the program also run's a Mobile Clinic which provides free healthcare to pregnant women in 22 rural villages, staff and supply the maternity center at the public referral hospital in the Central Plateau, run a Postnatal Care Program at Hospital Ste. Therese, and a Matwòn Outreach Program.
