The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 18, 2017 PF-5017 "On measures to further improve the management of the system of housing and communal services."
The main tasks and areas of activity of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
- implementation of a unified state policy in the field of housing and communal services and coordination of sectors;
- Ensuring the implementation of state programs for the construction of affordable housing, the implementation of customer functions for the construction of affordable housing, water supply, sewerage, heating, demolition of dilapidated and emergency housing;
-monitoring the technical condition of multi-apartment houses, including the organization of major and minor repairs of the multi-apartment house;
- requirements for harmonization of activities of private homeowners' companies, maintenance of multi-family housing stock, determination of their use and operating costs, rules and regulations of technical operation of multi-apartment houses, rules and regulations, many rules and regulations. control over observance of safety conditions;
- Development and implementation of programs for the development, modernization and reconstruction of water supply and sewerage facilities, heat supply systems, development schemes and master plans of settlements, as well as the organization of their implementation, ensuring the organization and quality of their implementation;
- The introduction of resource and energy-saving technologies and equipment in the system of housing and communal services, including the provision of modern facilities for housing and communal services with measuring instruments, construction and installation work will provide a reduction in the cost of modern products and materials;
- Preparation of proposals to improve the regulatory framework in the field of housing and communal services, the development and implementation of modern forms and methods of housing and communal services, taking into account the best practices of developed countries;
- in coordination with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, take comprehensive measures to formulate a tariff policy for water supply, sewerage and heating services, and to strengthen the economic stability of organizations in the field of housing and communal services;
- to make proposals on training of personnel in the field of housing and communal services, to organize retraining and advanced training of personnel with the purpose of carrying out educational operations abroad, to provide information and reference materials on modern information and communication technologies, instructional products, management information, office information to hold.
