MONES is committed to mobilising financial and technical resources and creating wealth, both physical and knowledge, for the development of women in Mongolia.

MONES strategy

Empowering women and increasing women’s creative participation in enhancement of the implementation of principles of justice, equality and transparency in local and national governance in order to advance women’s rights.

Mongolian Women’s Funds has prioritized fighting any kind of discrimination against women. Also, it has paid considerable attention to fighting poverty in both rural and urban areas through supporting initiatives and projects by women. In 2007-2008 Mongolian Women’s Fund has launched a campaign to support poor, unemployed women of age over 35 with many children.
