With almost 40 years of experience in investing in and managing infrastructure assets, NTR now applies that expertise on behalf of investors who wish to avail of the attractive, reliable cash flows that quality sustainable infrastructure assets can provide.
Their immediate term focus is to complete their third investment cycle in onshore wind projects, adding circa 250-300MW to the projects already built and operated by the group over two previous investment cycles. In addition, they are actively seeking solar projects in certain European countries.
Established in 1978 to build Ireland’s first toll bridge, NTR plc has been investing in sustainable infrastructure since 1999, with its first investment in wind. Over the past 15 years, NTR group companies transacted more than €3 billion of sustainable infrastructure investments in wind, solar, bioenergy, water treatment, energy storage and recycling. Over €2 billion of those transactions are in wind assets and more recently, NTR has entered its third cycle of wind investment with the launch of its first wind fund in 2015 and is pursuing both solar and wind investments in Europe for its upcoming fund.
