Oltenia Water Company SA is a Romanian legal entity, established as a joint stock company in accordance with the applicable Romanian law, having as shareholders Craiova Municipality, Calafat Municipality, Băileşti Municipality, Filiaşi City, Segarcea City, Bechet Town, Dăstaeni Town, Comuna Brea Calarasi Commune - through the respective local councils, as well as Dolj County, through the County Council. The object of activity of the Company is the operation of the water supply and sewerage services whose management is delegated according to the Delegation Agreement concluded with the Association of intercommunity development Oltenia, in the area of ​​the delegation defined in the respective contract. The company carries out its activity exclusively for the Local Authorities, which have delegated, through the Association, the management of water supply and sewerage services. Oltenia Water Company SA, holds the License no.0893 / 23.03.2010, class I, operator of water supply and sewerage services, license granted by the National Regulatory Authority for Community Services of Public Utilities, through the orders of ANRSC president no. 136 / 23.03.2010, respectively no. 164 / 09.03.2011, by which he is granted the permission to provide the services according to the provisions of the Delegation Contract. Having specialized technical equipment and machinery, at European level, as well as highly professional and long-term staff, Oltenia Water Company provides water supply and sewerage services for approx. 344,970 users and has as principles the service security, fair pricing, cost effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the service, transparency and public accountability, including consultation with employers, unions, users and their representative associations, adaptability to user requirements, equal accessibility of users to public service, on contractual basis, compliance with specific regulations in the field of water management, environmental protection and population health.
