Background
Water in Ciudad Obregón ... A little history
Originally Ciudad Obregón was supplied with water with the exploitation of ten wells strategically located in different parts of the city.
Over time these wells stopped working due to various causes such as the depletion of the aquifer or salting so new sources of supply were sought through new wells, not having obtained satisfactory results.
Then, in 1970, the first water treatment plant was built in Ciudad Obregón and due to the increase in population, other plants were built.
