Organizacion Paraguaya de Conservacion y Desarrollo Sustentable (Paraguayan Organization for Conservation and Sustainable Development -OPADES)
The Paraguayan Organization for Conservation and Sustainable Development (OPADES) was founded on October 12, 2015.
It is a non-profit, union, non-partisan and pluralistic organization that groups young professionals in the environmental area and enjoys full administrative, organizational, financial and political autonomy.
Its purpose is to: Contribute to the sustainable development of Paraguay, promoting respect for nature and the ecological processes that sustain life.
Develop a culture of respect for nature with the active participation of society that allows the innovative management of natural and cultural resources.
To be an innovative organization with a significant social and environmental scope that generates a positive impact contributing to the sustainable development of Paraguay.
Plan and execute socio-environmental projects to solve problems at the local, regional or national level.
Empower young conservation leaders through volunteer activities.
Implement environmental management measures at the urban or rural level that improve the quality of life.
Establish strategic alliances with institutions, associations, NGOs in socio-environmental projects.
