Pilbrow & Partners was established in 2013 by founding partners Fred Pilbrow, Tal Ben-Amar, Keb Garavito Bruhn and Sam Yousif. The practice is led by Fred Pilbrow, with over 25 years’ experience designing in the UK and abroad.
The partners have particular strengths in addressing complex mixed-used development and planning challenges and a track record of successfully developing proposals in sensitive heritage contexts. As well as a team of architects, the practice is strengthened by specialist resources in the areas of architectural design, parametric modelling, BIM, visualisation and model making.
Their design approach is open minded, inquisitive and enthusiastic. They do not assume they know the best solution to a given problem at the outset and they work collaboratively with their clients, fellow consultants and other project stakeholders to carefully evaluate potential alternative design approaches. They are creative and imaginative. Yet their creativity and imagination are always grounded in careful research and their conclusions are argued from logic and economy.
