Project Planning & Management is a consulting & engineering company, established in 2007, based in Sofia Bulgaria that specializes in providing technical assistance services in the areas of infrastructure development, transport, environment, social-economic development, urban planning, regional and rural development and implementing reforms in the public administration. The company is working globally, offering service to national and international clients. The geographical scope of activities covers Eastern Europe, West Balkans, West Africa, Africa, Central Asia, South-eastern Asia and Latin America.  Our core team possesses long-years of practical experience in donor projects implementation and created throughout the years strong relationships with our clients, based on loyalty, personal relations and trust. Our principle and main rule is to exceed the expectations, achieving the planning and goals of each project at maximum quality level.   Staff and Resources The team of PP&M is combining the expertise of more than 40 permanent associated consultants and civil engineers backed up by 6 full time professional project managers at its headquarters in Sofia Bulgaria. The company has an East African office at Lilongwe Malawi responsible for supporting our operations in the region. It in addition has a project office in Kampala, Uganda responsible for management of our ongoing projects in Uganda and for business development.   Capacity PP&M Ltd. now has its own expert database with more than 2000 experts with a large network of partners from both governmental and non-governmental organizations in West Africa, Central and South-East Africa and whole ACP region.  The company has gained over the years extensive experience in EC funded assistance projects in particular in Africa region. In addition PP&M experts have gained valuable experience in managing and implementing assistance projects focused on holding reforms in-line with EU requirements and supporting national institutions in approximation to EU norms and legislation. This combined with PP&M present experience in financial and administrative management of various donor funded projects is ensuring a highly qualified project implementation capacity to deal with complex major technical assistance infrastructure assignments.   PP&M specific comparative advantages are: it is part of a wide network of well-known European consultancy organisations; the availability of high level core of experts familiar with the key issues to be addressed by the donor funded projects and programs; it has the required experience and capacity in civil engineering services; its flexible project management structure with hands-on and highly relevant managerial and technical experience; it possesses considerable backstopping facilities.   Specialization The company provides its services divided into three main Departments: The International Projects Department is dealing with management of our international projects implemented globally, funded by international donors like European Commission, World Bank, International Development Association, European Investment Bank, EBRD, African Development Bank etc. The Department is covering planning and management of long-term technical assistance projects as well as short-term framework contracts.   The Design Department is specialized in delivering services related to preparation of feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs and engineering services for various infrastructure projects.   Consultancy Services Department is focused on projects related to formulation and programming of various strategic programs on national, regional and local level, Technical assistance for management of infrastructure projects, procurement support, monitoring and evaluation of EU funded programs, trainings and capacity building.
