Social Justice and Grassroots Development
Social Justice & Grassroots Development is an Association/Non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organisation with more than 20 members comprising women and youths. The organisation was founded in 2000, but officially registered in May 2004 with the Edo State Government Nigeria. The constitution was written and certified by the Customary Court, Okada.
Social Justice and Grassroots Development is committed to long term sustainability and improving the lives of the poor through compassion and service. They implement projects that work to empower citizens at the community level. Hence, once a grant is received to implement a project, it is the policy to facilitate the longevity of the project long after the grant period expires. Projects are named after the sponsors.
