St. John's Hospital Foundation
About St. John’s Health Foundation
They’re all about health. Yours and their hospital’s. They help advance the efforts of St. John’s Health by raising the financial resources to help keep facilities and technology first-rate, and to fund programs and assistance for thousands of patients each year. They are honored by your donations. A healthy hospital is truly the foundation of a healthy community.
Founded in 1999 by long-time Jackson community members Addie Donnan, James Eden, David Stokes, John Valiante, Shirley Cheramy, and Gloria Newton to increase awareness and financial support for St. John’s Health, the Foundation focuses on educating the public and cultivating private philanthropy in support of St. John’s Health.
They help SJH meet the unique challenges of serving—with excellence and proficiency—a full-time regional population of more than 40,000 that grows to an estimated 100,000 during peak tourist periods.
Today, they continue to fund staff education, community health and wellness programs, innovation and technology, capital facilities and equipment—while looking for creative and meaningful ways to support advances in clinical excellence at St. John’s Health.
