SNV is a not-for-profit international development organisation working in Agriculture, Energy as well as Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH). Founded in the Netherlands in 1965, SNV has built a long-term local presence in more than 25 developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. It has been present in Uganda since 1989 with a country office in Kampala and regional offices in Arua, Fort Portal, Lira and Mbarara through which it undertakes donor-funded activities in over 30 districts.
