“Stoop Consulting bvba” is a consulting firm created in 2007 and continues the consulting activities initially started in 1996 under the name “Stoop Consult bvba”. Stoop Consulting offers a long and broad experience in good governance, management and development. Their work is mainly concentrated in the public sector (including federal / central, regional, provincial and local level governments as well as SOE or parastatal organisations) and the ‘social profit’ sector. They combine their numerous Belgian assignments with a very broad international experience, based on assignments in more than 20 countries.
The services delivered by Stoop Consulting are highly appreciated. The satisfaction of their clients and stakeholders is clearly shown in their repeated choice for their services and has allowed us to engage in long-term partnerships.
Stoop Consulting is supported by an active network of partners (organisations and individual experts) who work with us as required for the type of assignment and/or the country of the assignment. This allows Stoop Consulting to successfully complete challenging assignments, employing between 1 and 15 (international and national) consultants. While being responsible for Stoop Consulting’s overall business operations, Patrick Stoop will generally lead the assignments or at least conduct the corresponding quality control.
Together with their partners, they are fully committed to guarantee a professional, qualitative, dynamic and timely realisation of the assignments entrusted upon us. To do so, they combine critical reflection and professional external input with respectful support and capacity enhancement of the individuals, teams and organisations involved in their assignments.
Internationally, they mainly work through international / multilateral organisations (United Nations, World Bank, …) and bilateral development cooperation (BTC, FIC, SDC, …) but sometimes also with NGO’s. Stoop Consulting has successfully conducted assignments in the following continents and countries:
Africa: Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Burundi, South Africa, Mozambique, Rwanda, DR Congo, Benin, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mali and Guinea
Asia: Timor-Leste, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia, Cambodia and Bangladesh
Latin America / the Caribbean: Haiti, Suriname, Curacao, Bonaire, Guatemala and Ecuador
