About

The DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) is the central administrative body of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in Bangladesh. It was established in 1958 to manage and
improve the country's healthcare services. The TMED (Training, Management, and
Evaluation Division) is one of the departments under the DGHS.

The TMED division was established
in 2016 with the aim of strengthening the healthcare system in Bangladesh
through efficient management, training of healthcare professionals, and
evaluation of healthcare programs. This division is responsible for conducting
various training programs for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers to
upgrade their skills and knowledge. It also evaluates the effectiveness of
healthcare programs and services to identify areas for improvement.

The TMED division is actively
involved in implementing various initiatives to improve the quality of healthcare
in Bangladesh. Some of the notable initiatives include the introduction of
electronic health record systems in hospitals and health centers, establishing
maternal and child health care services to reduce infant and maternal
mortality, and providing essential medicines to underserved communities.

Overall, the TMED division under
the DGHS plays a crucial role in ensuring that every citizen of Bangladesh has
access to affordable and quality health care services.
