The Center for Public Policy Transformation (Transformasi)

The Center for Public Policy Transformation (Transformasi) is a Network of Thinkers established in 2014, which aims to encourage data and fact-based policy making. Since its inception, the Center for Public Policy Transformation (Transformasi) has always moved on the basis of encouragement to contribute to better public policy making in Indonesia based on data and facts. Departing from this vision, Transformasi has developed a number of programs in the areas of Adaptation to Climate Change, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Job Creation and Economic Growth, as well as Urban Starting from the Dialogue on Train along with the Ministry of Transportation, book launching, information dissemination, and research publications on economic growth, the National Economic Growth Policy Forum, in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, to holding a series of Policy Discussions and Studies for Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Fisheries Financing, in collaboration with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, as well as Gorontalo District and Provincial Assistance in Integrating Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. All of these activities have built networks and coordinated Transformation with policy makers at the central and regional levels. In addition, Transformasi is currently implementing a pilot program to create a platform to bridge and connect poor and vulnerable young people and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions with the private and government sectors in Central Java. This initiative is funded by USAID, and will be implemented for 15 months (2017-2018), and also supported by the Rajawali Foundation.
