Transportation Training Institute
Neal Carboneau started the Transportation Training Institute in 2013 to help improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of work related to our transportation infrastructure.
He spent most of his career in the road and bridge construction industry which gave him an invaluable foundation of practical experience. He went on to work at Purdue University helping others find creative solutions to infrastructural challenges. While at Purdue, he was responsible for both research and implementation, to put those creative solutions to use in the field. He found that he had an affinity for the training and technical assistance, so created the Transportation Training Institute to help employers improve the skills of their workforce as well as provide cost effective solutions for challenges these employers face.
Neal brings a well rounded skill set to the Transportation Training Institute, to not only provide training, but technical assistance in topics from estimating, budgeting and scheduling to the most effective long term material to use and its installation techniques. He has also used his experience in the field, research in best practices and understanding of how to present that information to the workforce to develop effective training courses in temporary traffic control, flagging and workforce safety.See more
