Summary: Over 22 years of educational experience as a teacher, instructor, trainer, manager, curriculum designer, instructional technology designer/developer, and educational technologist. Well involved in Common Core, UK National, IGCSE, AP, ADEC, and Lebanese national curricula. My Educational Philosophy I think that education is never and should never be a teacher-learner venture in its traditional concept. Education, as I see it, is the real heritage of what we are about and what our self, society, nation, and humanity aim to be. Educational Philosophy: My philosophy, in this regards, is that education is what we are learning from our surrounding, how real life experiences influence our knowledge, and what exactly we need in order to overcome our problems individually and collectively. The way I can see effective teaching is to integrate and relate as much as possible to the learners’ real life experiences. The main motive of any learner to seek effective learning, is have the passion in reaching his/her needs and wants from whatever is being taught. Curricula must me based on flexible outcomes. By flexible learning outcomes, I mean that learning must not only focus on achieving stated objectives, but rather, seek and acquire extra knowledge and skills, solve more complex problems, and get the habit of innovation. In our modern days, such philosophy seems to be very practical and subjective. Technology tools, communication media, and modernized paradigms made it possible for settings and theories such as flipped classrooms, blended learning, problem based learning, constructivism in learning, multiple intelligence, and many other effective practices and theories to be functional and promising under 21st century standards.
